Graduate Opportunities
We seek to recruit, on average, four Chartered Trainees each summer.
As a trainee accountant your role will be varied between the areas of audits and accounts preparation.
During the course of a three year training contract our students are given the opportunity to assist audit seniors on small and medium sized audits, and the training covers all aspects of auditing from planning to completion.
Our students are also trained to prepare accounts for a range of clients from small sole traders to larger limited companies, together with their respective tax computations. There are also opportunities to be involved in specialist assignments, such as; charities, solicitors and FSA regulated businesses.
Our requirements
We are not looking to recruit staff exclusively from the accounting disciplines. Client service is of paramount importance to us, and we seek forward thinking, enthusiastic and hard working graduates whose skills will complement those of our existing client services team.
Entry requirements
A strong academic background is essential. You will need a 2:1 degree and a minimum of 260 UCAS points. However, personal interests and hobbies are an important component of our selection criteria.
Training
Trainees are provided with full study support, including ACA training courses and paid study time to attend these courses. This, combined with the practical experience, reinforces your professional training.
