Hitting the Right Notes with Rainbows

Our support for Rainbows Children Hospice in Loughborough has reached a crescendo as we helped sponsor a special concert held recently at Leicester Cathedral as part of Children’s Hospice Week (14th-21st May).
The major fundraising concert on Saturday 21st May, called Ratby 4 Rainbows, featured music by the Ratby Co-Operative Brass Band and the Rainbows Staff Choir and saw pitch perfect performances of such classics as The Barber of Seville and the singing of a medley from The Sound of Music, amongst other pieces.
Hundreds of people were in attendance including our own Partner, John Griffin, who comments, "We were delighted to be able to support this concert at Leicester Cathedral by sponsoring the evening’s programme. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and great fun was had by all. Whilst both the singing and the music were fantastic, the most noteworthy point was that so much money was raised for Rainbows and we know that every penny will be spent on helping to improve both the hospice facilities and the quality of life of the young patients there."
Our support for Rainbows Children’s Hospice has continued over a number of years. Last year we were awarded a platinum block in the hospice’s Wall of Celebration as recognition for our help in reaching a fundraising target for new facilities. Since 2006 we have donated over £12,000 to the appeal whilst also saving the charity over £150,000 in VAT through the ongoing donation of our professional business services worth £20,000.
